I’m Shweta Tembre, the Designer and Calligrapher behind Shweta Script, based in Pune, India.After nearly fifteen years in interior design, my creative path gradually led me to the quiet discipline of pointed pen calligraphy — an art where structure and expression exist in delicate balance, and the beauty of lettering reveals itself through clarity of form and deliberate writing.Today, I specialize in pointed pen calligraphy, creating elegant work for brands, events, and bespoke commissions, while also designing thoughtfully structured learning resources for calligraphers who wish to study the craft with depth and intention.My pointed pen work has been featured in Typism Book 10 and recognized with a Merit in Engrosser’s Script, milestones that continue to guide my practice.Through Shweta Script, I create work that celebrates the quiet elegance of traditional lettering while sharing the discipline and beauty behind this timeless craft.
